Our campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of nature and has a beautiful view over the Indalsälven, which offers you the peace and the proximity of nature.
The campsite is beautifully situated in the valley between Östersund and Sundsvall along the Indalsläven. It is about an hour's drive in both directions on the Indals members.
Hammarstrands campsite has 30 camping pitches with electricity. At the campsite we also have several stuga's four persons and two person stuga's to rent these are for rent for 1 night or for a longer period of time. A little further on about 100 meters we have a 4 person villa / cabin for rent On the campsite there are several water tap points. The entire campsite is well lit.
The heated service house has just been renovated, clean and beautiful. There you will find toilets, showers, disabled toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen with dining facilities and washing up, washer and dryer, landfill for your toilet and water tap point for filling the water tank of the camper / caravan. The showers are free, spacious and wonderfully warm.
At the reception there is a café where you can get a fika (coffee with some goodies). We have different types of pastries, packaged ice cream, real Swedish ice cream made with wind energy. If you want to eat then we have small dishes such as sandwiches, various sandwiches and also the real Dutch croquette and frikandel is for sale in the café and even more small dishes. For dinner we also serve meals that you can eat with us or take with you to your camping equipment. Breakfast can be ordered one day in advance for breakfast. But also think of a well-filled breakfast basket that we come to deliver to you, also for larger groups a breakfast buffet can be provided.
Adjacent to the campsite there is a heated swimming pool. It is free for everyone to swim in. If you prefer to swim in the river, there is a beach a short distance away.
In Hammerstrand you will find everything you need, such as 2 supermarkets, bank, ATM, gas station, pharmacy, health center, dentist, liquor store, pet store, do it yourself, garage, pizzeria and several restaurants.
Dogs are welcome but on the leash, at the campsite there is also a possibility to let the dog swim or to swim with the dog. In the future a dog play field will be built at the campsite where the dogs can run free and play with each other.
We are open all year and you can book a winter or summer season with us.
